The Mortal Instruments

The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare is about a girl called Clary who, when she goes to a club with her best friend Simon, witnesses a murder committed by people who nobody else can see. When she confronts theses murderers, they are surprised she was able to see them and they explain to her about the secret job of the Shadowhunters: to kill demons on this world.
As Clary learns more about the Shadowhunters, she begins to question her past and get irreversibly tangled up in the Shadowhunter world....
I really liked these books, I thought they were really different...and they had a gorgeous guy on the front, what more could I want? Anyway, they were fun, scary and exciting to read!

There is another amazing series by Cassandra Clare (I preferred this series)
