Night World by L.J. Smith

There are nine books in the Night World series (soon to be ten) by L.J. Smith and they follow a short clip of several teenagers lives, whether they are from the Night World or not. The Night World consists of a mixture of different creatures of the night, e.g. vampires, shape shifters and witches.
There are two rules of the Night World:

• Never tell a human about the Night World
• Never fall in love with a human.

The punishment for breaking either of these rules is death.

In each of the books, they show what happens when someone breaks one of the laws, perhaps both.

The final book has yet to come out but you can be sure that it will be the conclusion to all the cliff hangers and will tie up all loose ends!

I really enjoyed reading these books and am looking forward to when the final instalment is released.

I wouldn’t recommend this series to any Twilight fans as it is well written and has a storyline and a complex plot! These are proper vampire novels!
