She runs errands for Brimstone who is a monstrous chimera, half beast, half man. He sends her all round the world through magic portals to collect teeth and trade them for wishes. One day Karou notices that blackened hand prints are appearing on all the portals around the world, and there are accounts of people seeing angels dropping out the sky creating the print and then flying off.
After one catastrophic day Karou turns to Brimstone's best client for help. She travels to Marrakesh, which is where she meets the stunning Akiva.
This is a great read! I really enjoyed reading thins! It has fast, witty dialogue and an interesting plot! Can't wait for the rest of the trilogy.
