Graceling by Kristin Cashore tells the story of Katsa who has the Grace of Killing, which even she despises! People who are Graced have two different coloured eyes and they have an enhanced ability, whether it be swimming or cooking or archery. In Katsa's experience people who are graced are shunned and feared. As the story progresses we learn about her past and how far she would go to save the people she loves.This book was so gripping and I can't wait to read Fire and Bitterblue the prequel and sequel to Graceling.
